Multiple sources are reporting that Untitled Art will be ceasing operations.
Levi Funk, the previous owner of Funk Factory Guezeria, which closed in 2022 and is now the site of the Friends Applaud Tavern, is the co-founder of Untitled Art with Isaac Showaki. Showaki founded Octopi Brewing in Waunakee, which was sold to Japan beer giant Asahi in 2024.
According to reports based on internal sources and memos, Untitled Art will no longer have a contract brewing agreement with Octopi.
Untitled Art was a popular Madison-area drinks brand during its 10 years in business. It brewed new-age and traditional styles like pastry stouts and lagers, produced highly lauded non-alcoholic beer, and THC drinks.
