UnityPoint Health announced more layoffs on Wednesday.

This move comes after it cut 207 jobs in its technology department in April, the Wisconsin State Journal reported.

These jobs represent under 1% of UnityPoint’s workforce, which is just over 31,000, with the jobs heading to a third-party vendor, Omega Healthcare.

“Like many health systems across the country, we are navigating a period of sustained financial pressure that requires us to make difficult but necessary decisions,” UnityPoint said in a statement. “The decision reflects our organization’s commitment to improving efficiency and experience without impacting patient care.”
