President Donald Trump’s administration said it will fund a coal plant in Wisconsin with $19 million, Wisconsin Public Radio reported

The plant, Columbia Energy Center, is co-owned by Alliant Energy, Madison Gas and Electric and Wisconsin Public Service. It was supposed to close about two years ago, but the coal plant would be able to use the money to modernize.

Overall, the Trump administration said it would provide up to $500 million to several coal plants in 10 states.
