The Book Deal and Garver Feed Mill are pairing up to open the Book Deal at Garver.
The new location will complement the one at 3822 Mineral Point Road and focus on affordable books and community.
It will be located just off of the Garver Lounge inside Garver Feed Mill, and feature around 2,000 used books for purchase, restocked weekly and refreshed regularly.
“What we love about this partnership is that people might come to Garver for dinner, a drink, a concert or market and end up discovering a book they weren’t expecting to find,” Rick Jacobs, co-owner of the Book Deal, said in a statement. “We’re excited to keep the shelves fresh, bring a little bit of The Book Deal experience to Madison’s east side and create more opportunities for people to connect around books.”
The partnership will also bring more literary programming to Garver. This includes author events, gatherings focused on books and other events throughout the year.
One such program will be the Literary Trivia Night at Garver, a recurring event.
