Taxing lesson at the Capitol

May’s session of Leadership Greater Madison was held at the state Capitol. Jason Stein with Wisconsin Policy Forum gave a presentation and led the LGM25 class in a role-playing exercise about property taxes and what type of tax structure might be best for funding schools. After a box lunch on the capitol lawn and a chance to check out some of the Buckys on Parade, the class toured the capitol, including a trek to the top of the dome.
