The 73rd annual Sun Prairie Sweet Corn Festival, one of greater Madison’s summer traditions, returns Aug. 19-23 at Angell Park, 200 Park St., in Sun Prairie.
Festivalgoers can enjoy more than 80 tons of Wisconsin-grown super-sweet corn rolled in butter and salt, along with a carnival, live entertainment, family activities and more.
The celebration officially kicks off Wednesday evening with the Sweet Corn Festival parade, followed by the Block Party presented by One Community Bank at Cannery Square.
The Sweet Corn Festival is coordinated by the Sun Prairie Chamber of Commerce, with festival proceeds supporting local nonprofits.
