May home sales in Wisconsin dipped 2.8% year-over-year, according to the latest report from the Wisconsin Realtors Association, released Thursday.
The report comes amid rising prices and limited housing supply, though year-to-date sales still top the same point last year.
Last month, 6,553 homes were sold statewide, down from 6,745 in May of last year. Year-to-date home sales increased 2.6%, however, to 24,432, as compared to 23,807 in the first five months of 2025.
Wisconsin’s housing supply was unchanged over the year at 4.1 months — substantially lower than the six-month benchmark the WRA considers a “balanced” existing home market.
