Kyle Nondorf has been named SSM Health Wisconsin regional president, the organization announced Wednesday.
Nondorf stepped into the interim role in July following the departure of Sue Anderson, who had served as regional president since 2022.
He now assumes the post on a permanent basis at a time when the organization is embroiled in a dispute with nurses at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital-Madison who are trying to unionize.
Nondorf previously spent five years in Wisconsin leadership roles, including regional vice president of acute care operations and president of SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital-Madison.
Joe Hodges, SSM Health chief operations executive, said in a press release that Nondorf “has a proven ability to build strong relationships, navigate complex challenges, and achieve results (that) will continue to benefit our patients, communities, and care teams across Wisconsin.”
