Leadership Greater Madison 25 participants kicked off their April session by discovering how inner biases shape perspectives thanks to the Step Up training led by Tania libarra, board chair of the Latino Professionals Association. Ken Taylor with Kids Forward described the differences race and poverty play in quality of life for children in Dane County. Jen Wegner with MMSD explained how Pathways are helping students achieve, and Dr. Ruben Anthony with the Urban League and Marshall Behringer with GMCC discussed their organizations’ efforts to help students succeed in the classroom, career, and community.
