Promega groundbreaking

Promega Corporation broke ground July 18 on a new research and development facility to be built on its Fitchburg campus. The 270,000-square-foot, $190 million building will be the largest real estate investment in both size and cost in the company’s 40-year history. The new Promega R&D building will provide the required facilities to support contemporary science and respond to increasingly complex customer requirements. Moreover, the new facility will allow Promega the opportunity to increase scientific capacity and expertise through the addition of up to 100 jobs over the next five years in the areas of research and development, manufacturing, and administration.
