Prodigies on Display at IceBreaker

More than 1,000 current and future business leaders gathered for the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce’s IceBreaker luncheon Friday, April 28, at the Kohl Center. Presented by CUNA Mutual Group, IceBreaker’s theme this year was Prodigium: the dominant, human element that drives innovation, sparks creativity, ignites imagination, and keeps our community forward-thinking. Prodigium is also Latin for a sign of things to come and the root of prodigy. This year’s event included three Greater Madison prodigies as featured speakers: Kaaren Hanson, design director, Facebook (Memorial High School Class of 1988); Peter Koechley, co-founder, Upworthy (West High School Class of 1999); and AJ Carr, founder, Building Bosses (Verona Area High School Class of 2020).
