Physicians Plus and UnityPoint Health – Meriter want kids to stay active and healthy year-round, so they held Polar Dash on Jan. 28 to help keep kids moving during the winter. Children were able to visit the Bear Clinic where Meriter doctors gave stuffed animals a head-to-toe check-up. And kids 12 and under got to dash around a winter racecourse pulling a plush polar bear on a sled. The goal of the event was to make the clinic a less scary place for kids.
