Developer Cobalt Partners has revised its plans for the $50 million North Shore Sports Village in Brown Deer, according to a report in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The complex, which would be financed with the help of a tax incremental financing district, would include a turf field, hockey rinks, and courts for basketball and volleyball, and futsal — a faster-paced version of soccer.

Under Cobalt Partners’ revised plan, the sports facility would anchor a development that also includes a hotel and commercial space.

If approved by the Brown Deer Village Board, the proposed 16-acre facility would be built along North Arbon Drive, just south of West Brown Deer Road in northern Milwaukee County.

Cobalt first proposed the complex in July 2025 and later acquired the project site for $3.2 million.
