Banker Wire, a Mukwonago wire mesh manufacturer, is one of the companies that has made it possible for Wisconsin to be part of the AI data center boom. The company’s woven and welded wire mesh products have both industrial and architectural applications, but they also protect the equipment, enhance air flow and help organize all the cables that connect to the servers in the massive AI data centers, which house thousands of servers and miles of connection equipment.
The Mukwonago company, founded in 1896, is now led by CEO Tim Frank and Vice President Harrison Horan, and it employs 215 people and projects $85 million in revenue in 2026. The employees photographed here in Banker Wire’s 250,0000-square-foot manufacturing facility operate automated welders, crimpers, and weaving looms that take steel rod and transform it into a variety of finished wire mesh products.
