In Business Madison honored four local Healthcare Heroes at our 2026 Healthcare Summit on Oct. 29 at the Park Hotel downtown.
The winners, nominated by peers and colleagues, include:
- Sue Schneider, an assisted living clinical trainer at Oakwood Village
- Dr. Kathryn Ledford, a family physician and associate medical director of informatics and population health at Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin
- Shoua Lee, supervisor of clubhouse programs at Chrysalis, a Madison mental health and substance abuse disorder treatment facility
- Rebekah Morano, a music therapist with Oakwood Village
The Healthcare Summit program also included two panel discussions, one focused on AI in healthcare, and the other panel centered on the health tech startup ecosystem in Wisconsin’s Capital Region.
