Taliesin Preservation will host Little Eagle Arts Foundation for the second year in a row for its 8th Annual Native Art Marketplace at Taliesin’s Hillside School Aug. 1 and 2.
The event celebrates the art and culture of Wisconsin’s First People. Award-winning Native artists will exhibit and sell work, and demonstrate and share stories about their process and culture.
“We are honored to welcome LEAF and their roster of Native artists back to Taliesin for a second year. The unique valley of the Driftless Region that houses Taliesin has long been a place for building community, and we look forward to the connections and inspiration this gathering will foster,” Taliesin Preservation Director of Programs Caroline Hamblen said in a statement.
Some of the art on display and for sale will include black ash baskets, wood sculptures, paintings and jewelry. There will also be performances and educational sessions.
All events and activities will take place at Hillside School located at 6604 Hwy 23 Trunk, Spring Green.
