Dane County representatives and local charities came together March 22 for a press conference announcing a naming contest for the planned homeless day shelter in Madison. Individuals or groups can participate by submitting a naming idea to the Catholic Charities Madison Facebook page or by going to www.namethecenter.org. Participants can include a video or photo with their idea. Then, everyone will have an opportunity to vote on their favorite name before a committee chooses the winner in late April from the top vote getters.
