More than 100 faith leaders from across Wisconsin signed a letter urging Wisconsin lawmakers to transition to 100% renewable energy.

Led by Faith in Place, more than 100 multifaith leaders signed an “Open Letter to our Next Governor,” to pursue clean energy for a healthier community and more stable climate.

Those who signed the letter include Rev. Kelly Asprooth-Jackson, Rabbi Abby Phelps, Rev. Nick Upthall, and Rev. Teresa Thomas-Boyd.

The leaders will also hold a press conference targeted to the governor to call for clean energy on July 28 at 10 a.m. at the Wisconsin State Capitol. They will gather on the King Street steps.
