A proposed loading dock expansion that would add 700 jobs at Foxconn’s Mount Pleasant site now goes to the full Village Board following approval by the Mount Pleasant Plan Commission, according to a report in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
On Sept. 23, the Plan Commission voted unanimously to approve the planned upgrades, which include 26 new loading docks, a new transformer and a generator.
The upgrades, which are designed to help meet strong demand for artificial intelligence, would be made to a building at 12001 Braun Road.
