The city of Monona is planning a 1.5-acre park at the center of Galway Companies’ massive Greenline redevelopment, according to a report in the Wisconsin State Journal.

The $1.2 million Monona Commons Park would provide flexible event space and parking for food trucks amid walking paths near the Greenline, a mixed-use project that will add nearly 700 apartments and 25,000 square feet of commercial space along West Broadway.

Phase 1 of the Greenline is now under construction next to WPS Health Solutions headquarters.
