The future redevelopment of the former AO Smith Corp./Tower Automotive site in Milwaukee will be the subject of a public meeting via Zoom on Sept. 9, at 6 p.m., according to an article in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
City of Milwaukee officials and neighborhood groups are seeking public input into the redevelopment of the vacant site, which is located at 3940 N. 35th St.
Those who attend via Zoom will learn about the site’s history and plans for environment remediation.
The public is asked to register for the Zoom meeting.
The city purchased the 13.7-acre site for $250,000 in 2019, with plans to expand the neighboring Century City Business Park there, but the property remains vacant.
