The Milwaukee Brewers have announced a collaboration with Visit Fitchburg and Madison-based artist Emily Balsley to install a new community mural, “7th Inning Stretch,” at McKee Farms Park, 2930 Chapel Valley Road.
Balsley will begin installation this week, weather permitting, with an estimated timeline of two weeks for completion.
Now expanding into its third consecutive year, the Brewers mural initiative has supported community partners in collaborating with local artists.
The installation of “7th Inning Stretch” follows “South Side en La Hora Mágica,” a community mural installed on the south Side of Milwaukee earlier this May, as well as two City Connect inspired murals in West Allis and Eau Claire.
“We have seen the value of public art in Fitchburg and are thrilled to be part of the Brewers mural initiative,” said Angela Kinderman, president and CEO of Visit Fitchburg, in a statement. “We welcome fans, art lovers and park enthusiasts to enjoy McKee Farms Park when they come to visit the ‘7th Inning Stretch.’”
Balsley’s mural will extend 50 feet, capturing the energy and camaraderie of a Brewers game. Dressed in Brewers colors, spectators are shown rising from their seats to sing along during the traditional seventh inning stretch at American Family Field.
Balsley was a featured artist as part of the Milwaukee Brewers 2025 Artist Series, with her illustrated T-shirt becoming a fan favorite.
Details regarding the mural unveiling and community celebration will be released at a later date.
