Live music from Electro Retro, a Chicago-based dance band, will highlight Kandu Industries’ annual Harvest Jam on Oct. 24, from 3 to 6 p.m., at Kandu’s Milton campus.
The celebration raises money to support Kandu’s programs and services for disabled people.
Electro Retro will perform dance favorites from the 1960s through today.
Guests will also enjoy local food trucks, beer and wine, and a welcoming festival atmosphere for all ages.
A suggested $5 donation will be accepted at the door, with proceeds supporting Kandu’s programs.
The organization provides employment services, adult day services, memory care and life skills training to help disabled people build greater independence.
“Harvest Jam is about bringing people together and showing what the community can accomplish,” Kathy Hansen, executive director of KANDU Industries, said in a press release. “You can come for the music, enjoy some great food, spend time with friends and family, and know that simply by being here, you’re helping create opportunities for people with disabilities to learn, work, connect, and thrive.”
