A new Marquette Law School Poll survey of Wisconsin registered voters has State Rep. Francesca Hong at the top of the Democratic primary field, but many voters are still undecided.
With the Aug. 11 primary approaching, 45% of voters are undecided, with 26% leaning toward Hong, followed by former Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes with 15%.
Joel Brennan sits at 2 % and state Sen. Kelda Roys at 1%.
Lt. Gov. Sara Rodriguez, who dropped out of the race, sits at 11%.
This survey was conducted July 8-16, interviewing 838 Wisconsin registered voters, with a margin of error of +/-4.5 percentage points. Rodriguez ended her campaign after the survey was done. Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley dropped out of the race before the poll was conducted.
As for the Republican primary, U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany is supported by 67%, Andy Manske sits at 2% and 30% of voters are undecided.
