A new Marquette Law School Poll, released on Wednesday, shows that in the race for governor, Democrat David Crowley leads Republican Congressman Tom Tiffany 49% to 46% among likely voters, with 5% undecided.

The latest poll comes five weeks before the Nov. 3 election and three weeks before early voting begins in Wisconsin on Tuesday, Oct. 20.

While Crowley holds a 3% lead among likely voters, he leads Tiffany 46% to 45% among all registered voters, with 9% undecided.

In August, Crowley led 49-44% among likely voters, and the race was tied at 44% among all registered voters.
The poll also showed that President Donald Trump’s job approval in Wisconsin has declined to 38%, with disapproval rising to 60%.
