In the last poll before the Nov. 3 election, the Marquette Law poll finds Democrat David Crowley leading Republican Tom Tiffany 51-44% among likely voters in the Wisconsin governor’s race.
The poll also found that Crowley leads Tiffany 47-44% among registered voters.
The previous poll, released on Sept. 30, showed that Crowley led Tiffany 49-46% among likely voters.
In the latest survey, Oct. 14-22, 818 Wisconsin registered voters were interviewed, with a margin of error of plus or minus 4.3 points for each candidate’s percentage.
For likely voters, the sample size is 668 with a margin of error of plus or minus 4.7 points for each candidate’s percentage.
Tiffany’s polls could be influenced by fellow Republican President Donald Trump’s low job approval in Wisconsin. Only 37% of survey respondents approved of his performance compared to 61% who disapprove.
