More than 2,000 people gathered at Olin Park May 14 for the March for Babies, the premier fundraising event for the March of Dimes that benefits Madison babies. Participating families, companies, and volunteers were expected to raise over $350,000 to fund March of Dimes programs and research aimed at giving babies a healthy start. The one-mile family fun walk route took walkers around Olin Park and the three-mile walk traveled up Wingra Creek Trail and back. The UW Marching Band and Middleton High School Dance Team lead the March, which also featured activities and games for families.
