With the artificial intelligence market evolving rapidly, Madison-based WellStack, which offers a data platform for healthcare, announced Tuesday that it has acquired a Florida-based company, DeLorean AI.
The acquisition will aid WellStack’s mission to become the precision intelligence operating system for healthcare.
Even healthcare organizations that have invested in collecting and organizing data struggle to identify which patients or financial risks need immediate attention.
Both organizations believe this acquisition will help clients make sound decisions and make them earlier.
WellStack, which was founded by Madison-based entrepreneur Ravi Kalla, offers a healthcare data platform that allows health systems and payers to unify data from disparate systems — clinical, financial and operational.
DeLorean AI offers a predictive intelligence product that applies AI to patients’ clinical data to predict when patients with chronic illnesses are getting sicker.
Rich Waller, CEO of WellStack, said in a press release that the acquisition of DeLorean AI improves its ability to serve clients and speed product innovation.
“Together with DeLorean AI, WellStack is redefining what’s possible for healthcare organizations seeking smarter decisions, greater efficiency and a competitive advantage in an increasingly complex market,” Waller said.
