Wednesday, July 15, is the final day for the Madison Public Market’s pop-up events before it officially opens on July 23.

The pop-up market is from 3:30-7 p.m. at 202 N. First St.

The featured merchant is Isthmus Yarn. The business will have knitting and crochet demonstrations throughout the evening and give a peek at some of the yarn and products that will be for sale when the market officially opens.
“This Pop-Up Market is both a celebration and a beginning,” Keisha Harrison, CEO of the Madison Public Market Foundation, said in a statement. “Our community has shown incredible support throughout the Opening Season, and next week we get to open the doors to a Market that’s been years in the making. We’re excited to celebrate with everyone who helped bring us here.”

Beginning Aug. 12 and going through Oct. 28, the Madison Public Market will launch “Every Wednesday at the Market,” a new weekly event.

The event will provide opportunities for local entrepreneurs, emerging food businesses, artists, makers, nonprofits and community organizations to participate inside the Madison Public Market throughout the year.
