Responding to leadership losses and funding uncertainty will be points of emphasis during the annual Madison Nonprofit Day on Sept. 11 at TruStage, 5910 Mineral Point Road, in Madison.

The annual conference, designed for nonprofit executives, is based on the theme “Now What?” referring to issues related to management, workforce development and finances.

Organizations will be encouraged to look beyond everyday operations and instead focus on collaboration and long-term sustainability.

“We have seen how quickly an organization can be faced with a leadership transition or a major change in resources,” Prenicia Clifton, founder of Madison Nonprofit Day, said in a press release.

“Sustainability means more than raising money,” she said. “It means developing people, sharing knowledge, building strong systems, identifying partners and making sure the mission can continue even when circumstances change.”

Registration is open.
