The program is 26 credits and will teach students hair cutting and styling techniques, as well as shaving and beard design, skincare and chemical services. There are also business and time management skills integrated into the program.
Madison College is one of three technical schools in the state to offer a full-time barbering program. Madison College also offers a two-year earn–while–you–learn barber apprenticeship program.
The Barber Technical Diploma Program meets Wisconsin licensure requirements.
