Loop the Lake, a bicycle ride where participants leisurely bike around Lake Monona, will take place on June 20.
The event benefits the Clean Lakes Alliance, which builds community support, advocates for and raises money to protect and improve Madison’s lakes.
The ride will begin and end at the East Side Club, with the event featuring a lakeside picnic and cookout by American Legion Post 501. There will also be music, ice cream cones and more.
“We are excited to be a supporter of Loop the Lake, a bike ride that benefits our lakes and brings people together,” Scott Ducke, EVP and COO at Lake Ridge Bank and a Clean Lakes Alliance board member, said in a statement. “This event provides a wonderful opportunity for the community to support the preservation of our beautiful lakes while enjoying a fun and active day outdoors, reminding us why these lakes are such an important part of our region.”
The cost is $48 per rider, but kids 10 and under are free with a paid adult.
