The Literacy Network announced that it received a $50,000 AT&T community investment on Tuesday.
The money will support its digital literacy programs for underserved adults. The funds will help bridge the digital divide for those in the Madison area by providing one-on-one tutoring.
“AT&T’s generous contribution will help Literacy Network support Dane County adults in building their digital literacy,” Robin Ryan, executive director of the Literacy Network, said in a statement. “Through our Essential Literacy program, students gain reading, writing and basic computer skills that help them find meaningful employment, support their families, and navigate daily life.”
