Denim maker Levi Strauss beat quarterly expectations, the company announced Wednesday, CNBC reported.
Levi’s updated its expected earnings for the year from $1.42 to $1.48 per share to between $1.46 and $1.52 per share. Expected sales for the full year rose between 7% and 7.5%.
Revenue for Levi in its second quarter was $1.56 billion versus an expected $1.52 billion.
Sales are up nearly 8% from a year earlier.
