Art Fair on the Square returns this weekend, July 11-12, with a new major presenting sponsor: Lake Ridge Bank.
The fair, now in its 68th year, showcases the work of over 300 artists from around the country. Funds raised for the art fair helps keep admission to the downtown Madison Museum of Contemporary Art free, and also supports educational programming for the museum.
Lake Ridge Bank President Paul Hoffmann recently announced that the bank is beginning a five-year commitment to serve as the lead sponsor for the event.
“Supporting the arts is one of the many ways we invest in the strength and vitality of our communities,” Hoffmann said in a statement. “Lake Ridge Bank is honored to serve as the new presenting sponsor for Art Fair on the Square.
“Together with the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, we’re proud to help showcase the extraordinary artists and creativity that make this event one of Wisconsin’s signature summer traditions.”
It is one of Lake Ridge Bank’s philanthropic priorities.
