Kwik Trip has dropped from first to fifth in the most recent American Customer Satisfaction Index’s convenience store rankings, according to a report in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Kwik Trip, headquartered in La Crosse, now trails Meijer, which ranked first in the latest ranking, the similar named QuikTrip (#2), Sheetz (#3) and Wawa (#4) in customer satisfaction.
To rank the nation’s top convenience stores, the index received survey responses from 9,475 participants from October 2025 to September 2026.
Stores were rated on different experiences and features such as reward programs and product variety.
Kwik Trip earned 79 out of 100 possible points in 2026 after earning 85 points in the previous survey. It debuted on the list in 2024.
Buc-ee’s, a convenience store with a growing profile in Wisconsin, ranked seventh on the 2026 list with 77 points.
