Kaleem Caire, CEO of One City Schools, said Wednesday he intends to run for mayor of Madison in 2027, according to an article in the Wisconsin State Journal.
Caire will join former Madison City Council President Syed Abbas and former alder Brian Benford, who also have announced their intention to challenge incumbent Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway.
Caire said he would make his candidacy official on Sept. 15.
