A new type of watering hole is coming for Wisconsin’s entertainment, but it has more to do with water park fun than whetting your whistle.

According to a report in the Wisconsin State Journal, Kalahari Resorts and Conventions in Wisconsin Dells is putting the finishing touches on an $85 million, glass-enclosed expansion called the Watering Hole.

The 75,000-square-foot addition, which is set to open by Oct. 22, features three large waterslides that extend down from a 70-foot platform and the area’s first retractable roof, an aluminum roof that makes the facility an indoor-outdoor park.

Other features are a children’s pool with six small slides, a “swim-up” bar and lounge and a concession grill and daiquiri bar.
