The JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) Western Wisconsin Chapter held its 2016 Spring Gala April 30 at the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center, raising a record-shattering $553,606 through a silent and live auction and a Fund A Cure donation period, which will go toward research into groundbreaking treatments for type 1 diabetes. The night featured stories from type 1 diabetics, dinner, and dancing, in addition to the rousing live auction.
