The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources announced Monday that three Inland Label & Marketing Services facilities have been accepted into the state’s Green Tier program for environmental stewardship.
The facilities, two in La Crosse and one in Neenah, join the program as Tier 1 participants committed to environmental leadership.
Inland manufactures labels and packaging for food, beverage and consumer products.
As a Tier 1 of Green Tier, the DNR said Inland has implemented an environmental management system “to help embed sustainability into its decision-making strategy.”
“The DNR is proud to welcome these Inland Packaging facilities into Green Tier, expanding our partnership to include all the Inland locations in Wisconsin,” James Yach, DNR secretary’s director for the west central region, said in a press release.
“As each facility strives to reduce their environmental footprint, Inland continues to prove they are leaders in their communities and Wisconsin by managing operations to protect our shared natural resources into the future.”
