The Chowpati, an Indian street food restaurant, will open at 5:30 p.m. this Friday at the Madison Public Market.
During the grand opening event, members of the public can come meet the people behind the business and purchase their culinary offerings. The event marks the first of several individual merchant grand openings at the market spotlighting local entrepreneurs.
Located at 202 N. First St., the Madison Public Market is open from 5-10 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, from 8 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday.
