Cantonese restaurant Hong Kong Cafe will close on July 31 after 35 years in business, the Cap Times reported.
Located at 2 S Mills St., the cafe and nearby Choles Floral will be turned into a six-story apartment building with ground floor commercial space by Peerless Development.
The building will house 111 apartment units.
The restaurant was put up for sale in December 2024 but failed to find a buyer.
