Heartland Label Printers acquired by Tennessee company

Iconex, a Morristown, Tennessee provider of information labels, has acquired Heartland Label Printers of Little Chute, Wisconsin. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The purchase strengthens Iconex’s manufacturing capabilities and capacity, as Heartland is a producer of direct thermal, thermal transfer and specialty variable-information labels.

Iconex, an M2S Group Company, aims to become the world’s leading provider of variable information labels.

“We are excited to welcome the Heartland Label Printers team to M2S Group and Iconex,” Paul Charapata, CEO of M2S Group, said in a press release. “This acquisition aligns with our material science focus, expands our variable information label capabilities, and brings together two organizations with a shared commitment to valued customer partnerships.”

Founded in 1990, Heartland Label Printers employs 170 people at manufacturing facilities in Little Chute and Rancho Cucamonga, California.
