Gov. Evers requests rapid disaster declaration for small businesses

After massive spring storms, Gov. Tony Evers is requesting disaster assistance.

He sent a letter to the U.S. Small Business Administration seeking a Rapid Disaster Declaration in response to severe storms and flooding.

Based on joint damage assessments conducted by SBA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, state, county and local staff, Evers has requested that Marathon, Rock, Vernon and Waupaca Counties be eligible for disaster assistance.
