Goodman Foundation to close after 15 years

The Irwin A. and Robert D. Goodman Foundation announced Wednesday it would close by Aug. 31 after investing $67 million in the Madison area.

According to a report from WKOW, the foundation said in a press release that its work will continue through “the organizations, leaders and relationships it helped build.”

The organizations it has helped fund include Madison College’s Goodman South Campus, the Goodman Community Center and the Goodman Nonprofit Center at the Madison Community Foundation.

The Goodman Foundation, which also invested in efforts to address food insecurity, thanked the community for supporting it during its 15 years of operation.
