Girls on the Run of South Central Wisconsin will host its 18th annual Girls on the Run Fall 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 9 a.m., at the Waunakee Village Center, 333 S. Madison St., in Waunakee.
The event, presented by SSM Health, will celebrate the achievements of over 1,020 girls from 70 sites across South Central Wisconsin.
About 2,300 runners and walkers are expected to take part.
The Waunakee Village Center grounds will open at 7:45 a.m. and the race will begin at 9 a.m.
Event-day registration is available for $40. Registration includes free photos, snacks and a finisher medal.
