Automaker Ford will have to recall over 741,000 vehicles due to a problematic transmission that can damage the park system, the Associated Press reported.
The recall affects certain Ford F-150, Lincoln Aviator, Ford Explorer, Lincoln Navigator and Ford Expedition vehicles made between 2018 and 2021.
Damage to the parking system can allow the vehicle to move when in park.
Vehicle owners will be notified by mail if their model is affected and are directed to take their vehicle to a Ford or Lincoln dealer to update software.
