In Business magazine’s Fastest Growing Companies recognizes business growth and its impact on the local economy.
Nominated companies will be ranked according to revenue growth over a three-year period, with both dollar and percentage increases used in the calculation methodology allowing companies of all sizes equal opportunity to compete for a position on the list.
The Fastest Growing Companies will be honored at a breakfast program in April 2024. A countdown will then honor each successful company until number one is announced as the Fastest Growing Company in the area.
To apply for this award, companies must:

- Be a for-profit organization in business for at least five years;
- Earn over $500,000 annually in revenue;
- Have consecutive year-over-year growth and provide revenue numbers for fiscal years ending in 2020, 2021, and 2022; and
- Be headquartered in one of the following counties: Columbia, Dane, Dodge, Green, Iowa, Jefferson, Rock, or Sauk.
