Fall River-based EK, a power products manufacturer, plans to expand its capacity following the acquisition of a former trucking company’s real estate in Fall River.
EK announced it has closed on the purchase, which adds three buildings totaling 230,000 square feet on 15 acres of land.
The company said it plans upgrades to all three buildings as part of a $22 million investment in buildings, equipment and facility improvements.
The company expects to add 70 new jobs in manufacturing, industrial painting and warehouse management.
