Camp Wawbeek in Wisconsin Dells will be the site of Easterseals Wisconsin’s annual Pancake Breakfast on Oct. 4, from 8 a.m. to noon.
Proceeds from the annual event, which will also celebrate Easterseals centennial anniversary, will benefit both Camp Wawbeek, the organization’s flagship program established in 1938, and Easter Seals Respite Camp.
Easterseals Wisconsin offers services that help children and adults with disabilities gain greater independence.
In addition to breakfast and prize drawings, attendees will have a chance to meet Vicky Brasel, author of “In My Shoes,” during a book signing. The book shares stories about lifelong female friendship, summer camp and coming of age with disabilities.
